SiriusXM is doubling down on its relationship with Megyn Kelly, signing a new multiyear deal that will give the outspoken journalist her very own branded channel on the satellite radio network.

Under the expanded agreement, Megyn Kelly will take over channel 111, previously known as the Triumph channel, which will soon be rebranded as The Megyn Kelly Channel. The new station will continue to air The Megyn Kelly Show daily, alongside additional original programming hosted by Kelly and other contributors in the coming weeks.

Programming previously housed on Triumph will shift to channel 123 beginning next month, clearing the way for Megyn Kelly’s newly dedicated platform.

“Linear television news is dead. People can’t stand those stilted, censored conversations anymore, which is exactly why this medium is thriving,” Kelly said in a statement. “I’m thrilled to deliver our bold brand of no-BS news live on SiriusXM and to be expanding my relationship with such a stellar, blue-chip brand and great partner. Soon our listeners will have the Megyn Kelly Channel to enjoy and trust for the conversations and content they love.”

Kelly first joined SiriusXM in 2021, adapting her popular daily podcast into a live radio format. She renewed her deal in 2023, and the show has since become one of the platform’s standout talk programs.

Earlier this year, Kelly further expanded her media presence by launching her own podcast network, introducing new video podcasts hosted by journalist Mark Halperin, culture columnist Maureen Callahan, and influencer Link Lauren. It remains unclear whether any of these shows will be featured on her new SiriusXM channel.

In recent years, Megyn Kelly has built a formidable digital following, with her audience surging not only on SiriusXM but also across YouTube and other podcast platforms, reflecting the rapid growth of video-driven talk shows as an alternative to traditional television news.

The move underscores a broader industry trend: consumers increasingly turning to on-demand and personality-driven digital content over traditional cable news. Shows like The Megyn Kelly Show—produced with TV-level quality and minimal network oversight—have become staples for audiences seeking unfiltered commentary.

SiriusXM’s decision to anchor an entire channel around Kelly signals the company’s intent to strengthen its foothold in the fast-evolving talk media landscape, where independent voices and multiplatform reach are key.

With The Megyn Kelly Channel set to debut soon, both SiriusXM and Kelly appear poised to capitalize on the ongoing transformation of how Americans consume news and opinion.
