Freddy Braidy Built For Success

Meet the mastermind continuously developing upper echelon experiences in LA. With a powerful business roster in the luxury hospitality scene, Freddy Braidy endlessly connects Los Angeles to the pulse of global culture.

Freddy Braidy is a masterful ambassador of marrying the sacredness of foreign traditions with the rich landscape of LA culture. The former film executive operates from a panoramic perspective to entrepreneurship – Freddy Braidy launches venues across LA that reflect the brilliant overlapping of various culture elements. As the CEO of Boulevard Hospitality Group (BHG), Braidy and his partners oversee the evolution of various hotspots – including the famed Yamashiro Hollywood, Kodō Hotel & Restaurant, as well as The Hollywood Walk of Fame’s very own 1922, TCL Chinese Theatre.

“Los Angeles is the place where BHG concepts come to life,” expressed California tycoon, Freddy Braidy. “We approach development with the legacy of our city in mind. Each venue is distinctly original but ultimately springs from the same source of our founding principles.” As the hospitality enterprise that leads LA’s most prolific hotspots, the guest experience has long been paramount to the success of BHG. No effort is spared when the BHG team develops land for the purpose of curating inviting atmospheres for global visitors.

BHG’s diamond gastronomic venue, ‘Yamashiro Hollywood’, celebrates its 110th year of existence this year – drawing in global engagement from storied crevices of the globe. The

historic Japanese establishment resides on a centuries old mountain knoll in Hollywood Hills – overlooking the sways of the city, Yamashiro Hollywood is both an ancient restaurant and

architectural rarity. Founded in the era of early 1900’s Hollywood, Yamashiro was once a fortune hub, often welcoming the inventors of color television as guests. “I feel extremely fortunate to preserve Yamashiro in all of its stature,” shared Braidy. “BHG has big plans for the Yamashiro

enterprise. Another flagship location is set to open on the coast of San Pedro. In San Pedro guests can come for a Kyoto Spritz, then sail off to Avalon after dinner.”

Under the wings of Freddy’s leadership, BHG’s Kodō Hotel & Restaurant has become a solstice hub for creative clientele visiting the Arts District. Though the Kodo sanctuary was once a

central fire station to 1920’s Los Angeles – the Kodo premises is now a sacredly designed and renovated, Japanese compound. The preparation to convert the meticulously engineered station into Kodō was an act of homage to authentic Japanese principles of change and evolution. “Kodō was a passion project designed by a team of artistic designers, architects, and Japanese mentors,” said Braidy. “The building was crafted for Los Angeles to have a place they could time travel from. It was designed to reflect the luxury of tranquil style and authentic substance that honors tradition. Rejuvenation at its core.”

This year, Yamashiro Hollywood collaborated with The Emmy Awards to gift nominees and winners exclusive dining experiences. Invited to dine under the stars, the biggest names in

Hollywood filmmaking can be spotted roaming amongst the famed landmarks’ ancient terraces. “Yamashiro Hollywood’s partnership with The Emmy Awards was the crossover of a lifetime,” shared Braidy. “Yamashiro has always lived at the nucleus of Hollywood history, and BHG felt
that our presence at The Emmys reinforces to our community that we’re not done innovating the future of LA.”
